Buttermilk can be a pretty hard thing to find in some countries and as a lot of our simple chicken recipes use buttermilk I considered it a good idea to write a small description on how t make buttermilk. It's pretty simple and although it may not be the real thing, it is a pretty damn good substitute.

Ingredients

• Milk

• Lemon Juice

Method

Th measuremetns here are enough to make one cup of buttermilk so just multiply to suit your needs.

Fill a cup with milk, not quite to the top.

Pour in one teaspoon of lemon juice.

Stir.

Let it stand uncovered for about 20 minutes. Or in the fridge over night

Wow, it's even more simple when you write it down!

TIP: You can use a tbsp of white wine vinager if you do not have any lemon juice.... just thought you might like to know
